This is the one menu where you hand us the keys. Seven courses, 100% chef's choice, built to move from a cold, bright open to a warm, slow close. We cook what we're excited about that night — the only thing we plan around is your allergies. By reservation, for two guests or more.

One hundred percent chef's choice. The courses below are the shape of the evening — what fills them is whatever the kitchen is proud of that night. Tell us about allergies and we'll build around them. Everything else, leave to us.

  1. Starter

    How we open the night — something raw and bright, often whatever came off the boat that morning.

  2. Soup

    A bowl from whatever the kitchen has going — bisque, brodo, the day's mood, ladled warm.

  3. Salad

    Cool and green between the cold and the hot — dressed, of course, the way we dress everything.

  4. Pasta

    The shape and the sauce are the chef's call when you sit down — tossed to order, always.

  5. Fish Entrée

    The best fish we landed that week, cooked the way it's asking to be cooked.

  6. Meat Entrée

    A turn off the water — whatever the kitchen is fired up to braise, grill, or roast.

  7. Dessert

    We close it the way we want to close it. Trust us.

Can you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?
Yes — allergies are the one thing the kitchen plans the entire evening around. Tell us when you reserve and we'll build your courses to suit. We can also do a vegetarian or pescatarian tasting with advance notice.
Can I choose the dishes?
That's the whole idea — you don't. The tasting is 100% chef's choice: we cook what we're most excited about that night. The only thing we plan around is your allergies.
Does the whole table have to order the tasting?
No — but at least two guests need to order it. Anyone else at the table can dine à la carte; just plan their courses with your server so everyone stays in step with the tasting's pacing.
What's included in the $110 per guest?
Seven courses, chef's choice from starter through dessert. Beverages are not included, and an 18% service charge is added. You can add an optional pairing — three half-glasses, chef's choice — for $20 per guest.
How do I book the tasting?
Please call us at (301) 770-7888 and speak with someone directly, at least three days ahead — an online reservation alone may not reach the kitchen in time. Have your night, headcount (two-guest minimum), and any allergies or dietary needs ready, and we'll set it up.
